Spinach Salad recipe

Spinach Salad

1 gallon salad greens (1/2 spinach and ½ romaine or other mix)
2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
2 c grated swiss or chedder cheese
½ c sliced or slivered almonds
4-6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Craisins or Mandarin oranges

Poppy Seed Dressing
½ c white vinegar
¼ c sugar
1 T grated onion
1 T Dijon mustard
½ t salt
1 c vegetable oil
1 t poppy seeds

Blend all ingredients except oil and poppy seeds. With the blender on, gradually stream in the oil until thoroughly combined. Add the poppy seeds and just pulse until combined. Serve sparingly over the spinach salad

Torte Dessert Recipe

Crust:
1 cup flour                                         
½ cup butter softened
1 Tbsp Sugar

Mix the above ingredients and press into 9x13 pan.  Bake at 350 for 10 min then cool.

Cream Cheese layer: 
8 oz cream cheese
2/3 cup powdered sugar
4 oz cool whip

- Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip. Spread over the cooled crust.

Pudding layer:
3 packages small puddings (2 chocolate and 1 vanilla)
3 ¾ cup Milk

Mix together puddings and milk until thickened.  Pour over Cream cheese layer.  Spread remaining 4 oz cool whip over pudding.  Refrigerate.
